Analytics for Q1, 2022
The Q-analytic is a series of blogposts published quarterly to set priorities and follow them up. It is a live blog, updating now and then within the quarter of the year. The efforts on work packages and reflections are documented here. Hopefully, it helps me to do better in the next quarter.
Table 1. Importance and urgency of the work packages.
There were five work packages at my hand in the first quarter of 2022. The code names for the work packages are RB, TP, AI, EX, and NL. To track the deep focus, I use a block of uninterrupted time, commonly known as Pomodoro-time, spent on the work packages.
There were a few issues that affected my progress:
In week W7, I was diagnosed as Covid-19 positive
In week 10, a short trip outside Oslo, NVR application?!
In week 12, planning day at kindergarten
In week 13, changing jobs.
The work packages were sorted based on table 1. AI and TP fall into both important and urgent categories. Both of these two has an end goal in mind. They will not repeat as soon as they are finished by reaching the end goal. I want both of them to be finished by the second quarter.
Other work packages are not urgent. However, EX and NL are important for the long-term future. Therefore, I would carry them over throughout the year. I think I should better split them into smaller measurable work packages. NL could easily be divided into three stages. NLS1, NLS2, and NLS3. I may start a separate blog to track NL progress in individual stages.
EX is a bit tricky. I have to think about it more to make a plan.
RB is a kind of hobby project. Though it is in the ‘Not Important’ category, it is important to keep me insane.

Time spent on social media Q1, 2022
Screentime can easily be tracked over all devices. I get a weekly report and breakdowns of the time spent on various sites. The aim is to reduce the time spent on social media. So, here comes the graph to embarrass me.
In week 10, I have deleted all these apps from my mobile!
In week 11, I have installed the social media apps again on my mobile.
