A book that provided me a new awareness of our economy

Just finished reading The World of Three Zeros by Muhammad Yunus. I have been following his public lectures and interviews from time to time. Therefore, I was broadly familiar with the topics that he has been talking about. The book describes those topics and many more as a coherent account of his activities.

It provides a new awareness of our economy and pointed inefficiency of addressing some hard problems like climate change and wealth distribution. The solution he proposed is a new kind of business model called ‘Social Business’, which seems appropriate to me for many aspects of our society.

I consider him as one of the greatest original thinkers and extraordinary activists of our time. Those who believe in solving problems through business may find this book interesting.
